The SPAL Back In Black 1967 Chevy C10 project pickup was designed to retain it’s vintage look while incorporating today's latest performance and convenience upgrades. Built from the ground up in 3 months by SPAL employees, the ‘67 will be used as a sales demo vehicle that showcases the many great products that SPAL and it’s business contacts produce. |

The Rocket Ranger, the World's Fastest Gasoline-Powered Pickup, decided
just sitting in the Iowa State Museum wasn't enough, and decided
to reinvent itself and return to the Salt in 2003.
Rejuvenated as a diesel pickup with a 6.0L Powerstroke diesel engine under the
hood with a custom-made Hypermax turbocharger the Ranger took "assalt"
on the land-speed record.
The Ranger came up a bit short, finishing with a respectable 205 mph
top run, just eight mph short of the record. But like the Terminator,
the Ranger will be back. |
